The atmosphere is great, people are friendly and are helpful. For those who like to cook, there is a great kitchen with facilities there and Woolworths is just next door. One thing I can gurantee is your privacy. Although bottles are not allowed in the Hotel, you can always retire to the bars which are situated on both sides of the door. Can't wait to go back and spent more time there.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It was centrally located, right in the heart of the city. Everything I needed was within walking distance, including restaurants, supermarkets, and the bus terminal. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was impressive, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, providing helpful information and recommendations.
There was nothing I didn't like.

the location
It was impossible to sleep until at least 2am!, the air condition didnt work and the windows wouldn't open, there wasn't enough computers for the size of the hostel, and there was limited to no information on the brisbane area.

very friendly staff, exceptional location of hotel at the very historical center of Brisbane, excellent for a sight-seeing walk
1) long time waiting at reception desk for check-in (I mean, a solid 1 1/2 hours as the receptionist went to take her half-hour"break" while a dozen guest were in line). 2) shared kitchen slightly less than clean, to say the least. Despite the signs posted everywhere, kids just don't clean after themselves.

Great location, close to many attractions and convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or requests. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere after a long day of sightseeing. The common areas were well-maintained and provided a great space for meeting fellow travelers. The hostel also offered a variety of activities and tours, making it easy to make the most of my time in the city.
The noise levels in the hostel could be a bit disruptive, especially at night. The doors were quite loud when they closed, and the walls were not very soundproof, making it difficult to sleep soundly.
